A direct link between Belval and Esch-sur-Alzette
This impressive soft mobility connection which extends for 1,200 metres over the former steel production site of ArcelorMittal is the longest elevated cycle and pedestrian bridge in Europe. The whole cycle path extends for 1,9 kilometres connecting the district of Belval to Esch through the national PC8. It’s well worth a ride for the spectacular sight offered by the Belval old industrial buildings surrounding the bridge. The nearest station for public transport connected to the national cycle route PC8 is Belval/Rédange, from there you can continue to Esch and beyond if you wish.
