Tasting at the Clos du Fourschenhaff distillery

The Clos du Fourschenhaff is one of the last traditional distilleries in Luxembourg. Since 1980, high-quality spirits have been produced here in Wiltz using time-honoured methods – from fruit grown in local orchards to the finished product.

During this 30- to 60-minute tasting, you’ll gain insight into the distillery’s work and sample four different products: classic fruit schnapps, gin and/or absinthe. The tasting takes place in the small, wood-panelled bar right next to the stills – an authentic setting where craftsmanship and history come to life.

The master distiller personally leads the tasting, explaining the origin, production and distinctive character of each spirit, and is happy to answer any questions. It’s a direct and genuine exchange between producer and visitors.
