Water Mill Museum: 1,000 years of industrial history
A 300-year-old farmhouse in Binsfeld is home to an exhibition of everyday objects from centuries gone by. Take a journey back in time and find out what daily life was like for the residents, farmers and craftsmen of the villages of the Ardennes. That includes making bread in the old-fashioned way, because the wood oven is regularly fired up. Digital media are used to bring the region’s history to life in an up-to-date and practical way, while guided walks to the best viewpoints in the area round off the visitor experience.
