What does a safer, more caring nightlife look like?
For 10 years, Pipapo has been part of Luxembourg’s nightlife and festival scene, creating spaces for conversations around harm reduction, safer use, safer sex and care. X BY PIPAPO celebrates this journey with a full day and night dedicated to learning, exchanging, moving and, of course, partying together.
The afternoon kicks off at 14:00 with a series of parallel workshops exploring nightlife and safer party culture. From drug checking and harm reduction to different community-based approaches, the sessions invite participants to exchange knowledge, experiences and practices.
At 16:00, a conference with experts from the field opens the discussion further, bringing together different perspectives on how nightlife can become safer, more inclusive and more caring.
From 17:00, the programme shifts gears with a comedy performance by Jessie James LaFleur, bringing humour into the conversation.
At 20:00, it’s time to move. Sarita Sarada leads a Waacking workshop and dance warm-up, accompanied by a vinyl DJ set from Rice Krispie.
And then, we celebrate.
From 23:00, X BY PIPAPO takes over three venues simultaneously: Rotondes, Rocas and de Gudde Wëllen.
At Rotondes, Rice Krispie and Leo Lopez take over the decks (house, funk, disco)
At Rocas, Plëmm Plëmm hosts two floors, moving between reggae and hip-hop.
At de Gudde Wëllen, Chainsmokerz and Gebeess Houeren keep the night going (Electronica, DnB).
Different spaces, sounds and communities, connected by one idea: nightlife can be a place for celebration, freedom and connection, and care can be part of the party.
