Description
On the weekend of 2 and 3 August, this shorter route offers a great insight into some of the highlights of the Mullerthal Region.
The Mëllerdall initiation tour takes you through the valley of the Black Ernz to the Sûre, which forms the border with Germany. Cycle past the famous Schiessentümpel pond on the way and look forward to a break at the Heringer Millen.
Direct access to the general Vëlosummer map on Geoportail: http://g-o.lu/3/gSRQ
Directions
Please follow the Vëlosummer signage.
The tour starts at the P&R near Junglinster, from where you take the closed CR121 to Blumenthal. As you leave the village, follow the closed CR121 down the valley again. After crossing a roundabout, you will soon pass the Schiessentümpel before reaching the Heringer Millen in the village of Müllerthal shortly afterwards. From there, continue to Grundhof, where you can either end the tour or cycle back along the same route.
