FRAprès le spectacle participatif haut en couleurs Let’s Move ! en 22 • 23, le chorégraphe Sylvain Groud et le Ballet du Nord sont de retour au Grand Théâtre avec une nouvelle création, Le banquet des merveilles – Du chaos à l’harmonie. Mu par une envie profonde de refaire société et retrouver un récit commun, ce spectacle propose de renouer avec notre capacité à nous émerveiller. Face à un monde chaotique et un avenir incertain, les artistes au plateau souhaitent partager un moment intime et sincère avec le public en donnant à voir et à entendre de nouvelles harmonies. Un spectacle – sur une composition originale de la Cie du Tire-Laine – tel une plongée au cœur de l’humain, où se disputent zones d’ombres et fulgurances lumineuses. Une pièce sensible et urgente qui propose de danser la foi en l’humanité.
ENTragedy and injustice often challenge our faith in humanity. In Le banquet des merveilles, Sylvain Groud speaks to the human heart, where shadows wrestle with bursts of light. The stage opens on a bleak world, where contorted figures are trampled by an indifferent crowd. But from this darkness, the dancers and musicians rise with defiant joy, transforming chaos into a celebration of resilience and shared humanity. Inspired by encounters with society’s most vulnerable, the performance pays tribute to those who persist, who rebuild, who dream. Set to original live music, it is an invitation to come together, to create anew. As with Let’s Move!, presented at the Grand Théâtre in 2023, Groud creates the perfect conditions for exchange between artists and audience. Together, they reinvent what it means to gather, to share, and to hope.
DE Wie kann man den Glauben an die Menschheit tanzen, wenn die Tragödie uns von allen Seiten umgibt? Wie kann man noch auf die Zukunft hoffen, wenn das Elend bis vor die Haustür reicht? Nach Let’s Move! in der Spielzeit 22 • 23 ist Sylvain Groud mit Le banquet des merveilles zurück. Das Stück taucht in die Herzen der Menschen ein, wo Schattenseiten und Lichtblicke miteinander wetteifern. Der Vorhang hebt sich über einer trostlosen Welt, bewohnt von armseligen Gestalten. Doch die TänzerInnen und MusikerInnen auf der Bühne versuchen, die Welt im Schweiße ihres Angesichts neu zu gestalten. Sie reißen die Masken und die vierte Wand nieder, um unsere Empathie neu zu entdecken. Gemeinsam mit dem Publikum versuchen sie herauszufinden, was es bedeutet, zusammenzukommen, zu teilen und zu hoffen.
