Description
After starting the tour in Wasserbillig, you first cycle along the Moselle and then up the hill to the village of Münschecker. From there you cycle to Manternach, which also has a train station, and you then continue on to Berbourg. Shortly after Bech, you join the PC2 national cycle path and ride to Wolpert. You pass through a tunnel under the N11 road. From Wolpert, you cycle to Consdorf and Scheidgen. From here, you cycle leisurely down into the valley to Echternach, where a visit to the medieval town centre is recommended. The route continues along the Sûre river. You pass through some picturesque villages here and then cycle through Moersdorf. From a tourist point of view, all these villages belong to the Mullerthal region – Luxembourg’s “Little Switzerland”. You cycle along the PC3 national cycle path, enjoying views of the Sûre valley. After Moersdorf, you enter the Moselle region, known for its wine, vineyards and beautiful villages.

Directions
You start the tour in Wasserbillig and first cycle along the Moselle, then you begin the climb up to Münschecker. Incidentally, there is a train station in Wasserbillig. After Münschecker you ride on to Manternach and then begin a slightly longer stretch to Berbourg and Bech. Shortly after Bech, you take the PC2 cycle path to Wolpert, where you ride through a tunnel beneath the N11 national road. From there, you cycle to Consdorf and then on to Scheidgen. Before the leisurely ride from Scheidgen down into the valley to Echternach, you pass through the impressive “canyon” gorge. From Echternach you cycle along the PC 3 national cycle path along the Sûre towards Rosport. The first village you pass along the Sûre is Steinheim, where you can take a break at the Hotel Gruber. Then continue to the right along the edge of the forest and, after crossing the N10 before Rosport, you pass the production site of the famous Rosport table water. Rosport is also the birthplace of the inventor of lead accumulators, Henri Tudor. The Musée Tudor is dedicated to him and is located next to the premises of the Rosport municipal administration.
Continue along the cycle path the Sûre river. You will then come to Hinkel, where you can take a break at the “Kulturhaff Millermoler”, which is located directly on the cycle path. The tour then continues to Born, where the famous Ramborn Cider is produced, and where you can enjoy refreshments at the Op der Terraass restaurant.
You then pass through Moersdorf and reach Mertert, where the Sûre flows into the Moselle, and then you arrive back at the starting point in Wasserbillig.
The tour can be started at any point and will be signposted and accessible in both directions from 17th to 18th August.
