Description
This hike can easily be combined with a visit to the Wiltz Brewery Museum, located in the former stables of Wiltz Castle. Unique exhibition pieces provide insight into the various stages of beer production and illustrate the development of Luxembourg’s brewing industry and its centuries-old brewing tradition. Learn the art of brewing yourself during a master brewer’s course and taste your own brew on site. Another section of the museum is dedicated to the history of tanning.
The route starts past the castle, or rather right through it. It’s worth taking a look inside because you’ll learn that brewing is also an art. From the Witch Tower, the castle lord greets you in full armour and shows you the way into the Wiltz forests, which you cross. Back in civilisation, the artistic "Jardin de Wiltz" awaits you. These gardens are a must-see!
