Tiirmschen "Mir wölle bleiwe wat mir sinn"

"Mir wëlle bleiwe wat mir sinn" is the national motto of Luxembourg and its translation means "We want to remain what we are".

The historical desire of the Luxembourgish people to preserve their unique identity and national sovereignty gave rise to this slogan written on the little tower of the restaurant Am Tiirmchen.
