There are 33 historic horse-drawn carriages dating back to the 19th century to be admired here.

Of particular interest are the seven carriages belonging to the Grand Ducal court and the Grand Duke’s huge gala coupé. Numerous accessories such as harness, baggage and travel requisites take visitors back to the time when the Grand Ducal family and other wealthy citizens used to travel around by carriage.

Your carriage awaits!

Welcome to the land of princes and princesses! Luxembourg’s carriage museum is a land of wonderful stories and unexpected delight for children of all ages. Located on an old farm, the museum has about twenty carriages on display, six of which belonged to the Grand Ducal Court—and don’t miss the magnificent grand gala carriage! The museum also allows visitors to discover the world of old-fashioned travel, with plenty of harnesses, lanterns, trunks on display. You can even step into a coach builder’s workshop and see how carriages were made.

Let the fairy-tale begin!

The museum is closed from November to April.
