The common thread

Where? 2, Place d'Armes, L-1136 Luxembourg Art, Culture & Literature

As part of the "ΙΣΤΟΣ / WEB – Contemporary Artists’ Books" exhibition

Location: Ratskeller exhibition space (rue du Curé)

Illustrated books are one of the best ways to introduce children to art from an early age.

The workshop is structured around a discovery tour of the exhibition dedicated to artist's books, followed by the reading of a picture book and then a creative session.

Based on the idea of a “common thread” that runs throughout the book and connects the story from beginning to end, participants will be invited to transform this narrative element into a physical one: a graphic trigger that stimulates the imagination.

Everyone will be able to create their own artist's book and discover how many micro-stories and surprising images can emerge from a simple line.

All material is provided.
