Re-BOX! Transform – don’t build

Where? 1, rue de la Tour Jacob, L-1831 Luxembourg Art, Culture & Literature

Workshop for adults and kids

As part of the exhibition ‘Soft Power: The Brussels Way of Making the City’, Re-Box! is a workshop inviting children and adults to think differently about architecture: instead of building something new, how can we transform what already exists?

Each participant receives a small cardboard box representing a building. Using recycled materials, printed textures and cut-out elements, they imagine ways to improve their building : adding colour, nature, light, or even creating new functions.

The workshop playfully introduces the central idea of Soft Power: small creative interventions can change the way we experience our built environment. Re-Box encourages observation, invention and transformation while raising awareness of more regenerative architectural practices.
