The Alternative Expat Guide to Luxembourg

Where? 2, Montée de Clausen, L-1123 Luxembourg Theatre, Film & Shows

Game of Thrones edition

Luxembourg gets a new Duke… and a night of royal laughter!

On 3 October, the Alternative Expat Guide to Luxembourg returns with a comedy night that’s bigger, bolder, and funnier than ever.

Four top comedians will hit the stage with their best material in a one-of-a-kind show that mixes sharp stand-up, ridiculous games, and—because Luxembourg loves its secrets—a mysterious third thing.

Expect belly laughs as hearty as a plate of Gromperekichelcher, and sore cheeks that make Monday’s office gossip feel like a spa day.

This is the comedy event of the season—the perfect antidote to a “serious” weekend. Don’t miss your chance to laugh Luxembourg into its next era!

.

Tickets cost €15 in advance or €20 on the door.

Doors open at 19:30.

Artists

Jenny Gee (USA)

Jenni Gee is a comedy queen originally from Los Angeles but who now calls Brussels BE her home. Her unique stand-up style is a love letter to all who are quirky.

She has performed across the globe as a comedian, improv artist and through musical theater but started her career as a star of the daytime drama Days of Our Lives.

Conny Gengler (LUX)

Conny Gengler is a comedian from Luxemburg who is not afraid of self-

deprecation. Conny mostly talks about the things in life he does not

understand, which ironically are often the same things he thinks he does

understand. He performs in English, French and Luxemburgish and is

suffering from self-diagnosed MCSD (Multiple Comedy Styles

Disorder), as his comedy can swing from dark and raw to cynical,

absurd and downright silly, often in the same sentence.

Anne Bredimus (LUX)

Anne is a medical student by day and a comedian by night, known for her authentic mix of storytelling and observational humour. She’s performed in both English and German, shaped by her multilingual upbringing, and has shared the stage with acts like Nicole Travolta, Teddy Hall, and Bengt Washburn. A Comedy Slam finalist and part of the touring show from LGBTQties, Anne brings a sharp wit and queer perspective to every stage she steps on.

MC Jess Bauldry (UK/LUX)

Jess is a writer and comedian who claims to have quit being a people pleaser, but let’s be real—she’s still saying “yes” to things she hates. These days, she’s hard at work perfecting her resting bitch face—just kidding, she still smiles at strangers in grocery stores like a weirdo.

When not performing around Europe, Jess is the author of Substack The Alternative Expat Guide to Luxembourg and likes to steal other people’s chips.
