Schadstoffe vom Garten bis zu den Polarregionen

..Since industrialisation, the contamination of our soils with pollutants has been steadily increasing. While heavy metals and persistent organic compounds in particular have been a problem in recent decades, our soils and therefore also our gardens are increasingly contaminated with microplastics and PFAS. As many of these pollutants are difficult to break down, they can already be found in the most remote places on our planet, the polar regions.
