SUMMER ACADEMY X DKOLLEKTIV

In this workshop, participants will explore ways to create moving images from still images.

Depending on individual preferences, there will be opportunities to create digital animations as well as hands-on editing of 16mm film.

Participants can animate film strips through direct hand editing or by drawing directly onto the film. There will also be the option to create praxinoscopes an early animation device that brings movement in the images through optical illusion.
