Hiking in the footsteps of Carlo Hemmer in Echternach

Come and experience the picturesque landscape around Echternach on 27 September 2025! Our annual hiking tour, organised in collaboration with the Carlo Hemmer Foundation, offers nature lovers a sociable experience.

New for this year are two different tours: a short tour (10–11 km, starting at 13:30) for beginners, and a long tour (26–28 km, starting at 09:00) for advanced hikers.

After Saturday's hike, enjoy a multi-course Mëllerdaller menu featuring produce from local suppliers at the youth hostel Echternach.

 Conditions:

• Good physical condition and hiking experience over longer distances are required for the long hike. Only some hiking experience is required for the short tour.
• Sturdy footwear is mandatory, preferably hiking or trail running shoes.
• Please select your preferred hiking distance and duration when booking.
• Please also indicate whether you would prefer the standard menu or the vegetarian menu.
• The tour is for adults only.
