What is singing over there?
Join us on a guided tour through the nature reserve “Schlammwiss-Syrdall”, with its bird ringing station, in Uebersyren. Discover the awakening of spring in the reserve’s reed belts, wet meadows and ponds and learn to identify the singers’ calls and songs. Songbirds such as the nightingale, robin, reed and grasshopper warbler, cuckoo or blackcap seek out Schlammwiss’ water-dominated habitats for breeding or during their stopovers along their migration routes. You may even have the opportunity to have a closer look at some of those species in the ringing cabin. Bring sturdy footwear and warm clothing. And bring a friend too! In case of rainfall, the tour will have to be cancelled. Registration is necessary via email to schlammwiss@gmail.com.
Organised by Natur&ëmwelt - Section Ieweschte Syrdall - with the support of the Fondation Hëllef fir d'Natur and the Oeuvre Nationale de Secours Grande-Duchesse Charlotte.
