Wednesday Night Fever – Queer Quiz!

With: Rainbow Center

Language: EN

Access: Free

No experience nor material required

Booking: No booking required

On these very special Wednesday evenings, Mudam invites its visitors to reclaim the museum in fun, convivial and joyful ways, and rediscover its building by taking part in our Night Fever activities. Through collaborations with local collectives, Mudam connects with Luxembourg’s communities, inviting them to co-host unique events. Free and open to the public, everyone is invited to join and engage in these communal and interactive gatherings and expand their museum experience!

This time, Mudam collaborates with the Rainbow Center (Rosa Lëtzebuerg) to host an engaging and thought-provoking Queer Quiz. This event invites participants to explore a wide range of topics in a setting that is both stimulating and convivial.

The quiz has five rounds, each composed of questions designed to challenge and inspire you. Participants will navigate general culture, revisit key moments in queer history, engaging with influential figures and movements in queer culture and art.

A special round will focus on the museum’s current Simon Fujiwara’s and Ighsaan Adams’s exhibitions.

.

Whether you join individually or as part of a team, the Queer Quiz offers you an opportunity to learn, exchange and connect. No prior expertise is required – only curiosity and an open mind. Expect a lively evening shaped by discovery, dialogue and a shared sense of community. Join us for an evening where knowledge meets celebration and where each question opens new perspectives.

Rosa Lëtzebuerg. is the national organisation representing and supporting LGBTIQ+ people in Luxembourg. Since its establishment, it has been committed to promoting equal rights, social inclusion and the visibility of lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans, intersex and queer individuals. The organisation implements an integrated approach that combines policy advocacy with the delivery of services for the community. Its activities include raising public awareness, promoting inclusive practices and contributing to societal developments as well as national public policies. A key area of its work is the development and support of safe and inclusive community spaces. In this context, Rosa Lëtzebuerg manages the Rainbow Center Luxembourg, a central hub dedicated to information, support and community building, offering a programme of events, guidance services and community activities. Rosa Lëtzebuerg also initiates a range of projects and publications aimed at strengthening the visibility of LGBTIQ+ issues, notably through the magazine queer.lu, which highlights both key topics and community voices. The organisation works in close collaboration with public institutions, professionals and civil society stakeholders to develop sustainable structures and to actively combat discrimination. Rosa Lëtzebuerg stands for an open, inclusive and supportive Luxembourg where everyone can live equally regardless of sexual orientation or gender identity.
