Where? 1, rue Leon Metz, L-4238 Esch-sur-Alzette Theatre, Film & Shows, Other, Art, Culture & Literature, Markets

Explore, Create, and Connect with the exhibition Earthbound. Worms, Soil, Decay

Join us every Sunday morning for a vibrant immersion into the world of the exhibition Earthbound. Worms, Soil, Decay. Stroll through our spaces, discover the exhibition at your own pace, and engage in a diverse program of activities designed for all ages: young and old, art enthusiasts, science curious, or ecology passionate.

Creative workshops, guided tours, cross-disciplinary perspectives, yoga sessions, vegetable markets, and flea markets... Each Sunday offers a new way to resonate with the themes of the exhibition: soils, decomposition, earthworms, and our connection to the underground world. A Sunday at Bridderhaus is an opportunity to wander, discover, and enjoy a moment of calm and sharing.

Experience the unique atmosphere of our inner courtyard when the weather permits. It's the perfect spot to relax, sip a coffee, savor a carrot cake, and enjoy a pleasant time with family or friends in a laid-back and friendly ambiance.

Open to all.

All activities are without registration.

09:00 - 12:00 | Family Drop-In Workshop | Collective Drawing : What happens after the disaster? | Francisca Álvarez Sánchez

Guided by an initial question, we will create a collective drawing using illustration and visual storytelling techniques. This will also be an opportunity to discover the collective fanzine created during the masterclass with the artist.

Francisca Álvarez Sánchez is a Chilean visual artist whose work explores the relationships between humans, nature, and the Earth's regeneration cycles. Her work sits at the intersection of art, ecology, and spirituality, seeking to create bridges between the visible and invisible, between the conscious and unconscious. She uses images, objects, and installations to invite a sensitive reconnection with the natural world.

11:00–11:30 | Guided tour for adults of the Earthbound. Worms, Soil, Decay exhibition | EN

Explore the Earthbound. Worms, Soil, Decay exhibition, which highlights the essential role of earthworms and soil in life on Earth and the threats they face due to the current ecological crisis. Take this guided tour to learn more about these environmental issues and discover the unique artistic approaches of each creator. A mediator will be on hand to answer your questions and share information about the exhibition and the artists.

09:00 - 13:00 | Drinks and breakfast

Every Sunday morning, we offer coffee, tea, juice and carrot cake in a warm atmosphere – and, weather permitting, on the terrace of the Bridderhaus.

09:00 - 13:00 | Natural wine selection by The pépins.

Discover the curated selection of The pépins: natural wines and non alcoholic fermented drinks made with minimal intervention and maximum soul.
