Exploring the dynamics of the languages that shape our lives

Join us for a playful exploration of language and self-expression through zine-making! In this workshop, we’ll use collage and creative mapping to reflect on our personal relationships with language(s). We will visualise the languages that shape our lives by designing our own language islands – where fluency might take the shape of a towering mountain, a spoken but unwritten language could flow into a sea of vocal expression, and unfamiliar words might drift like clouds on the horizon.

No prior artistic or language skills are needed – just curiosity and a willingness to experiment.

This workshop is led by artist Nadine Rocco in collaboration with the Zenter fir d’Lëtzebuerger Sprooch. as part of the travelling exhibition The Luxembourgish language(s).
