Luxembourg City Bus Tour itinerary

Discover historical landmarks, stunning architecture, and vibrant culture on this convenient and immersive sightseeing experience.  Depart from the Boulevard de la Pétrusse, near Spuerkeess  HQ with our Luxembourg City Bus Tour. Then, you will be driven along the avenue de la Liberte at the Quartier de la Gare. Gare is a simple neighbourhood and a bustling transport hub that encompasses Luxembourg station, near which hotels and chain stores are grouped together.

 

Then, our driver takes you along the Constitution square, where you can marvel the famous Gëlle Fra statue, the remembrance memorial. Among other monuments, you also see the Malakoff Tower, an important monument built as part of the fortress in 1861. This tower has been fully restored and is now the new headquarters of Scouting in Luxembourg asbl. You pass over the Viaduct, also known as Old Bridge.

 

In just a few seconds, you are entering the city’s business district: Kirchberg. Before that, you will have a chance to see the panoramic elevator and the Pfaffenthal district just before entering the Kirchberg Plateau. Admire the skyscrapers and the splendor of a district rich in architecture. Take a photo of the Luxembourg Philharmonie and don’t miss a visit at the Grand-Duc Jean Museum of Modern Art (Mudam) after your city bus tour.

Shoah Memorial
On 17 June 2018 (75th anniversary of the last transport of Jews to Eastern Europe) a monument to the victims of the Shoah was inaugurated in Luxembourg city. It commemorates the 1300 members of the Jewish community of Luxembourg, victims of the Shoah, who were deported to the ghettos and extermination camps and murdered by the Nazis.
