The City of Luxembourg is fully aware of the importance of playgrounds for children's quality of life and development and, accordingly, provides a number of spaces that cater to the needs of different age groups, from toddlers and young children to adolescents. In all, the City operates 212 recreational spaces – including public playgrounds, multi-use sports fields, facilities for ball games, pétanque courts and skate parks – across the city's various districts.
