Ways of Looking

A two-day creative writing workshop curated by author Aga Lesiewicz

Ways of Looking .is a two-day creative writing workshop that treats contemporary art as a narrative system rather than a subject to describe. Instead of focusing on interpretation, the workshop asks how we look, what we notice, what we ignore, and how these choices influence the stories we tell.
Through a combination of practical teaching, guided looking, and writing exercises, participants develop short fictional texts that respond to the gallery environment as a source of inspiration.
Open to all levels, the sessions focus on how attention and perception shape storytelling. No prior knowledge of creative writing or art theory is required — curiosity and attentiveness are our tools!

Aga Lesiewicz is a writer, screenwriter, and creative-writing mentor working across fiction, film, and cross-disciplinary narrative practices.
Alongside her literary work, she has an extensive background in screenwriting and narrative development for film, television, and radio. She regularly leads creative-writing workshops and retreats across Europe, working with participants at different stages of their writing practice.
Her workshops blend rigorous craft with experimental methods, often drawing on visual art and everyday observation to expand how fiction is generated and experienced.
