Andrea Camilleri
the man, the writer, the translator.
In 2025, we celebrate the centenary of Andrea Camilleri’s birth, a master of Italian narrative and an unmistakable voice blending irony, humanity, and civic engagement.
To mark the occasion, a special conference with Professor Giovanni Capecchi and Professor Simona Mambrini will guide the audience through the discovery of the man and the writer, his innovative use of language, and the complex work of translating his oeuvre..
The event, part of an international series of tributes, will offer insights to rediscover an author who remains relevant, able to speak to both the heart and the conscience of readers, and to narrate a piece of our collective history.
.
A cocktail reception will be offered after the conference.
