European Museum Schengen

Europe at a glance - this is what you find in the European Museum Schengen. You get an overview of the Schengen Agreement which made the little winegrowing village in the border triangle so well-known. Free entrance into the museum. The owners of the Luxembourg Card receive a small surprise gift at the tourist office (Ponton on the Moselle).

The Spirit of Europe: European Information Centre

The small, picturesque winegrowing village of Schengen in the Three Country Corner became world-famous over 30 years ago as a positive symbol of open borders in Europe. At the European Museum in Schengen, you can gain an insight into the Schengen Agreement. Visitors also learn a great deal about the history of Europe. Stroll across the Place des Étoiles (Stars Square) where you’ll find the Columns of the Nations and an original piece of the Berlin Wall. Walk along the riverside promenade where the boats are moored, and take a look at the three steel monuments on the Place de l’Accord de Schengen.

Guided tours for groups on request.
