Roman Mosaic of Vichten

The municipality of Vichten has gained international fame in 1995 with the discovery of a roman mosaic, which depicts Homer in the circle of the nine muses. In addition to the copy of the mosaic, you can also see in the nearby museum the exhibition of the remains of the Roman villa of Rippweiler and, if desired, you can also book a presentation about the Romans in the surroundings of Vichten.
