About the tour

The history of the former "Gibraltar of the North" is still alive while driving past the historical sites of the old Fortress. The tourist train "Pétrusse Express" is operating since 1987. The departure and arrival is at Montée de Clausen (near the Bock Casemates). The commentary is available in 4 languages (English, German, French, Luxembourgish) and the tour takes approximately 50 minutes.


The Pétrusse Express runs daily from 01.04.2017 to 31.10.2017. Departures from Montée de Clausen (near the Bock Casemates). First departure at 10:00 am and last departure at 18:00 pm. Departures every 30 minutes. Non-working days: 29th April, 22nd and 23rd June.
