On these very special Wednesday evenings, Mudam invites its visitors to reclaim the museum in fun, convivial and joyful ways, and rediscover its building by taking part in our Night Fever activities. Through collaborations with local collectives, Mudam connects with Luxembourg’s communities, inviting them to co-host unique events. Free and open to the public, everyone is invited to join and engage in these communal and interactive gatherings and expand their museum experience!

This time, Mudam is partnering with CELL and the fourth edition of their format called BEYOND, to explore how spaces–cultural, public, and private–can be (re)appropriated through citizenparticipation, collective imagination, and creative practices.

The evening invites visitors to reflect on how communities can shape and transform the spaces they inhabit, from museums to parks to everyday environments. Blending elements of a quiz, informal dialogue, and collective reflection, the format encourages participants to engage individually and collectively.

A series of short question rounds, partly inspired by the ongoing Mudam exhibitions by Simon Fujiwara and Igshaan Adams, will spark conversations around identity, representation, and the role of art in questioning who space is for and how it is used. In parallel, a participatory installation invites visitors to share ideas and experiences: How can we create more inclusive, accessible, and community-driven spaces? What would they like to see in museums and beyond?

Mudam and CELL aim to bring together diverse publics, linking social and ecological justice with music, art, and creativity, to inspire new ways of imagining and shaping the world.

Biography:

.

Born in 2010, CELL is an eco-citizen movement dedicated to imagining and implementing concrete solutions to the climate crisis and the societal challenges it poses. A living laboratory for ecological transition, CELL is a space where citizens, municipalities, and local communities gain the tools, knowledge, and confidence to act on climate, together. Through programmes like community climate coaches, energy cooperatives, repair cafés, community gardens and the citizen project hub, CELL builds skills and capacity for community-based climate action across Luxembourg. Its work is structured around four action dimensions: the regeneration of living systems, climate policy advocacy, sustainable and circular production-consumption, and the support of multipliers.
