..The Last of Their Kin(d) marks the restart of Trio Accanto with their new pianist, Stefan Wirth. Together with Katinka Deecke, he has developed a songbook about endangered animals, enhanced with a video by Georg Lendorff. In a series of short compositions, ten composers will give a voice to the different species. The contrasting life-worlds of the animals are reflected in the very different aesthetic standpoints of the composers.
