Percujam is a unique band: a group where autistic young adults and educators share the stage, the creative process, and the energy of live performance. Together, they bring to life an extraordinary human and artistic adventure, where difference becomes strength and every concert turns into a genuine encounter.
For over fifteen years, they have been touring French and international stages with an energetic, poetic, and deeply committed repertoire. Often associated with French chanson or pop-rock, Percujam’s musical universe moves freely between slam, rap, reggae, and urban music.
Their creative process is singular: the educators compose music inspired by the emotions and inner worlds of the autistic artists, who in turn reinvent and transform the music through their own unique sensitivity. The band members live and work at Alternat, a specialized residential care facility founded in 2009 by the APRAHM Autisme association—a true place of life, learning, and creation.
.
Percujam is a world of its own: a space where work, humor, and humanism resonate with music, and where the stage becomes a place of freedom and sharing.
.
You may have seen them on Les Rencontres du Papotin on France 2 or alongside Julien Doré in a music video that went viral—so many windows into a deeply human adventure that touches hearts.
