The cultivation and sale of wine have a long tradition on both sides of Sauer valley. The former monastery in Echternach was heavily involved in winegrowing on the Sauer. Not surprisingly, wine growing has also been practiced for a long time in Rosport. Henri Tudor’s brother Hubert was already enthusiastic about viticulture and tried his hand at different types of vines. On Europe Day 9 May 2026, wine winegrowers from both sides of the Sauer Valley and traders will present their unique local products in Rosport near the town hall.
