Luxembourg City is considered a "Space of Freedom for LGBTIQ+ individuals" and pursues a public policy aimed at promoting and protecting their rights while rejecting structural mechanisms of discrimination. The Luxembourg Pride, an annual event advocating for acceptance and diversity, takes place in Esch-sur-Alzette. In 2025, the range of services will be expanded with a unique career format: the Rainbow-Career-Day.. On this day, regional companies will present themselves as employers who view diversity as an essential part of their corporate culture and actively seek dialogue with interested members of the queer community (and all those who value diversity). Visitors, in turn, can gauge the authenticity of the employers and determine if their own personality aligns with the company, irrespective of the industry or general field of expertise. The Rainbow-Career-Day Luxembourg is enhanced by a supporting programme that encourages exchange, dialogue, getting to know each other, and networking outside of career discussions, and is supported by many partnerships..
