Formed in 1982 in Essex, the band quickly established itself as a pioneer of EBM (Electronic Body Music), alongside Front 242 and DAF. Their combination of sequencers, percussion, and shouted vocals redefined the boundaries of industrial electronic music. From their self-produced beginnings to their signing with Mute Records and Geffen Records, Nitzer Ebb became a global reference, notably thanks to the support of Depeche Mode during their international tours.

Following the tragic passing of Douglas McCarthy in June 2025, founding members Bon Harris and David Goodaydecided to continue the Nitzer Ebb journey in tribute to their friend and long-time collaborator.

SIIE is a Swiss-German electro duo that has been blending Darkwave, Techno, and EBM into a distinctive sound since 2021. With French lyrics, they create a musical world that captures dystopias, emotions, and everyday rhythms, floating between the familiar and the strange.
