Fantastic Creatures – and where to hear them
The Hesper Music and the Hesper Youth Band invite you to their gala concert on May 9,
2026, at the CELO in Hesper. Under the direction of Romain Zante, both ensembles will
present a fascinating program dedicated to fantastic creatures, myths, and film music.
The first part features works such as Fantastic Creatures, How to Train Your Dragon, and
excerpts from Mussorgsky’s Pictures at an Exhibition. The Hesper Youth Band then takes
you on a journey into a magical world of dragons and legends with pieces like Legend of the
Water Dragon, Into the Dragon’s Lair, and Highlights from Harry Potter.
In the second part, enjoy further musical highlights including The Dance of the Witches, Le
Cheval Bayard, Rusalka’s Song to the Moon, and Buckbeak’s Flight.
This concert promises a magical atmosphere and an exciting musical journey for
audiences of all ages...
