A Journey into the World of Bees and Sheep

From May 23rd to May 31st, 2026, the Robbesscheier Nature Center invites you to an immersive theme week celebrating nature and traditional craftsmanship. The event focuses on two vital creatures: the sheep and the bee.

Enjoy a variety of hands-on workshops designed for the whole family:

• All about Sheep: Witness live sheep shearing and follow the journey of wool from cleaning and carding to spinning. Get creative in our wool craft workshops.

• The Secret of Bees: Discover life inside the hive, pour your own beeswax candles, and fill your very own jar of honey to take home.
• Nature in Action: Build insect hotels at our sawmill or create "seed bombs" in the garden to support a bee-friendly environment.

A sensory experience for all ages, featuring traditional horse-drawn carriage rides and delicious local food.
