The Luxembourg Ardennes characterized by high plains and steep sloping valleys are located in the north of the country. Far from the industrial heartland to the south, this is a mythical landscape of dense forests and heroic vistas. It is a beautiful place that modernity has left unscathed. See the historic towns of Vianden, Clervaux and Wiltz, well worth visiting, as well as the imposing castles in the region.
