There are works of art that unsettle us. A portrait that makes us feel uneasy, an almost creepy atmosphere, or things that are strange, out of place or simply don’t add up. Sigmund Freud described the uncanny as something that is at the same time familiar and alien. During this visit we will (re)visit and look for works in our collection that convey this sensation. This guided tour will be in English.
