Welcome performance Esch Gare
Musical Train
'Musical Train' is a collaboration between the UGDA School of Music, the European Union of Music Competitions for Youth (EMCY), Natų knygynas and the Esch Conservatory of Music. It includes two simultaneous activities in the European Capitals of Culture 2022, Esch-Alzette (LU) and Kaunus (LT), with a final activity in Brussels. Four very talented young musicians from all over Europe, including one from Luxembourg, will meet in Esch-Alzette for a week of workshops, rehearsals and concerts. They will then travel by train to Brussels where they will meet the other musicians from Lithuania for the final event. At the same time, four very talented young musicians from all over Europe, including one Lithuanian musician, will meet in Kaunas (LT) where they will perform awareness-raising sessions and flash mobs in trains, railway stations and refugee, cultural and social centres. They will then cross Europe by train with activities in Warsaw (PL) and Berlin (DE) before arriving in Brussels where they will meet the young musicians of the activity in Luxembourg for a final concert.
