moselmusikfestival campus
Deze inhoud is helaas niet in het Nederlands beschikbaar. After the successful "kick-off" in the 2022 season, this year between 16 and 23 September six young duos for lieder will be part of the festival programme and will present in two final concerts what they have worked on in an intensive week of work with renowned lecturers.
The moselmusikfestival campus has set itself the goal of rethinking the classical "master class". In addition to the former synagogue in Wittlich as an open "hub", the "Casa Toni" gallery and a banquet room in the "Brasserie Balthazar" serve as teaching and rehearsal space. Music is literally brought into the city. The development of the repertoire no longer takes place behind closed doors or in the elitist ivory tower of high culture, but rather in the middle of the city, on the way to school, to work, the way home, the lunch break or the shopping trip. Everyone is invited to listen in on the open classes and thus participate in the fascinating process of creating an interpretation. In keeping with the motto of the Summer of Culture "Compass Europe: Westwards", a special focus is on the development of songs from the Anglo-Saxon and French repertoire. Guest speakers expand the interdisciplinary offer for the participants and provide the young musicians with insights into related subject areas, cultural-historical input or report on the requirements and expectations of organisers and audiences.
Lecturers include Prof. Marion Eckstein, Prof. Thilo Dahlmann, Prof. Götz Payer.
