This project was conceived as a musical tale inspired by the life of Oumar Kouyaté, singer and musician, and is written and directed by Serge Wolfsperger.

"In the streets of an African megalopolis, mopeds, cars, carts, motorbike backfires, the cries of merchants and animals build a permanent symphony. A child soldier, a girl about 12, lives in this acoustic capranoea. Unwillfully enrolled, she was forced to flee the war. By day, she transforms the city's sounds into heavenly songs, as the dark melodies of the sounds of war assailed her at night. This child is gifted with exceptional hearing. It was said that she sang in her mother's womb. She no longer remembers her mother. The war has taken away her memory. She doesn't remember since as the street became her home, the fishmonger her aunt, the café owner her uncle. From the way of life was born the Enfant-Musique. Or rather the Enfant-Oreilles. One day, when she sees her image in shards of glass, she discovers two monstrous ears sticking out of her head. Thanks to these disproportionate ears, the child soldier hears the beauty of the world, the music of the city perceived as a deafening din..."
