Miguel C. Tavares (video artist) and José Alberto Gomes (sound artist) have regularly developed work together since 2011.
Over the years, this duo has explored the various potentialities of the audio-visual universe, developing different types of projects and formats: video, installation and performance. Together, they explored classical objects such as the documentary, more authorial hybrid spaces between the documentary and the artistic object and the world of video art and performative contexts such as film-concert, music and visuals.
"In between", which gives title to this session, was the first work in which the two authors decided to explore the parallel creation of image and sound, presenting them in a primordial parity. This show will present a selection of various styles and contexts that represent their work together.
