What does it mean to “be human” in our times? On stage, ten silhouettes sway in hypnotic harmony beneath a radiant spotlight before descending into a sinuous trance. Human towers rise and fall, bodies soar and are caught mid-air, relentlessly pushing back the boundaries of the possible. Is perfect balance a mere illusion? Should we instead consider constant adaptation as our sole possible response to an ever-changing world?
Following the global success of Sacre, presented at Kinneksbond in 2022, the prodigies of acrobatic dance present us with a second, even more riveting opus. Orchestrated by visionary choreographer Yaron Lifschitz, this show is both a missive of hope and a love letter addressed to humanity.
