We will experiment with woodcutting and print the dies made during the workshop. Woodcutting is one of the so-called relief printing techniques. An image is printed on a sheet of paper from the pattern on a block of wood. This process allows us to work on notions related to the imprint, the reverse and the right side, the shadow and the light, the empty and the full.
