Course description
Percussions, songs, dances and Guinean traditions will be discussed.
This course is linked to the Djembe course which takes place every Wednesday from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
The regular practice of the Djembe contributes to the cohesion of the group by listening.
The Djembe recalls the beats of the heart and promotes the memorization of different rhythms, as well as coordination.
Percussion has a soothing and anti-stress effect.
They call for concentration, listening, self-confidence and creativity.
The collective aspect of this art also develops sociability.
Thanks to the richness of its rhythms, the Djembe takes us on a journey to discover new horizons, both musical and cultural.
The learning is accompanied by explanations of the history and customs related to African percussion.
You will learn to make your instrument speak like a living being.
