The tour starts at the Abbey Museum where the guide explains the tedious work of the Benedictine monks of the Echternach writing school on the basis of magnificent manuscripts. Then the participants visit some of the areas of the former abbey which are not accessible to public. These are the main building, the cloister and finally the beautifully restored former dining room of the monks.
