The secret behind perfect animation is timing… simply getting the speed between images right! It’s not rocket science and the Flip off exhibition unravels the mystery using nifty flipbooks created by Luxembourgish and international artists.The fun exhibition allows visitors to handle small booklets of drawings which, when flipped through quickly, give the illusion of a moving scene. A simple way of telling stories, very different from the big animation studios, but a thousand times more impressive!
