FR Clementine est la nouvelle création de la chorégraphe et danseuse Rhiannon Morgan, que le public a pu voir, en janvier 2023, dans Songes d’une nuit… de Myriam Muller. La pièce, qui fait suite à une carte blanche du Trois C-L, raconte la quête de deux individus qui se cherchent, tentent de se trouver mais ne parviennent qu’à se perdre davantage. Clementine questionne notre perception des histoires romantiques et l’image que nous en projetons dans notre vie réelle et virtuelle. Grâce à un dispositif technique d’écrans et de caméra en direct, la chorégraphe explore ce qui demeure immuable : notre besoin de contact, de partage, d’être aimé et valorisé par l’autre. Rhiannon Morgan interroge les relations humaines et les émotions indicibles grâce à la danse et prend ainsi le public à parti, dans une chorégraphie qui mêle surprise, humour et émerveillement.
EN Luxembourg-based Rhiannon Morgan completed her training at London’s The Place before working with Akram Khan on the opening of the 2012 Olympics. Since then, she has danced all over Europe and made a foray into acting (Voir la feuille à l’envers, Let Me Die Before I Wake, Songes d’une Nuit… all at the Théâtres de la Ville). Clementine, a duet she has choreographed for herself and a dancer, is inspired by the human compulsion to look for a partner and how in the process of that search we lose part of ourselves. With the use of technological devices such as screens and live camera, the choreographer explores what remains immutable: our need of contact, of sharing, of being loved and valued by the other. Rhiannon Morgan questions human relationships and indefinable emotions through dance and invites the audience on a journey that mixes surprise, humour and wonder.
DE Clementine, das sind zwei Individuen, die versuchen, einander zu finden, und sich dabei nur noch mehr verlieren. Das Duett der in Luxemburg ansässigen Choreografin und Tänzerin Rhiannon Morgan hinterfragt den Platz des Partners oder der Partnerin in unserer Beziehung zu uns selbst. Clementine thematisiert die Absurdität menschlicher Beziehungen in einer Welt, die durch Konsum und ständiges Online-Sein geprägt ist. Das Stück erforscht unser bleibendes Bedürfnis nach Kontakt, nach Austausch, danach, von dem oder der anderen geschätzt und geliebt zu werden. Der Tanz wird dabei zu einem Band, das trotz allem verbindet. Rhiannon Morgan spielt mit der Bewegung in allen Formen, um den Reichtum der performativen Künste zu bekunden, und schafft durch Geschichten neue Perspektiven auf die Realität, die Überraschung, Humor und Staunen vereinen.
