As part of the “Luxembourg in Transition” international consultation, launched in 2020 by the Department of Spatial Planning (DATer), ten international and multidisciplinary teams worked for two years to develop visions and metrics to achieve the decarbonisation of Luxembourg and its cross-border functional area, and to create a more resilient territory.
In order to make the outcome of the work of the four finalist teams accessible to a wide audience, the DATer has entrusted the luca – Luxembourg Center for Architecture with the mission of creating an exhibition. This exhibition, which will be accompanied by a framework programme, aims to show the extent of the challenge represented by the decarbonisation of the Luxembourg territory, but also that more sustainable future scenarios may be the most desirable.
