"Once Around the Room is a profound and highly original tribute to a shared inspiration and a beloved colleague - the late, great percussionist and composer Paul Motian. It is also the first album that Danish guitarist Jakob Bro and American saxophonist Joe Lovano have recorded together.
Bro has assembled a special group for this project. The structured septet is made up of three bassists and two drummers, all musicians who have already worked together in various formations in recent years.
