Signed on 14 June 1985, the Schengen Agreement is known worldwide as a true symbol of freedom of movement and the abolition of borders within the European Union. But Schengen is, first and foremost, a small winegrowing village in Luxembourg’s Moselle, brimming with picturesque beauty.

The European Museum Schengen clearly retraces the first steps and development of this decisive treaty. You can also print your personal “Schengen passport” to take home as a souvenir!
